Project Design

Plastic is remarkably versitile in product design. It is possible to mould extraordinarily complex shapes with plastic with features that could not be provided in any other material.

 

The cost of tooling is often an obstacle for entry into moulded products but the item cost to produce the part can often offset the initial cost in a short time.

 

Fundamental to plastic design is the skill and knowledge to optimise the product shape and the material choice together with the complexity to minimise the cost and maximise the performance.

 

Clearly the more that can be "Built In" to the design the simpler and more cost effective will be the final product.
